Home Tab

The Home tab hosts all the functions which you will need for the design of a room complete with its decor and furnishings. The tab content follows the logical order of work in a design process.

Clipboard

The Clipboard group allows you to Copy, Cut, Paste and Insert objects and also to create a screenshot of the current work area. For this last function, you click on Copy → Copy Image.

In pCon.planner 6 PRO, you can not only copy the image of the work area but also copy the list of articles in a drawing. To do this, you click on Copy → Copy Article List.

Room

There are a number of tools here for drawing Walls, rectangular Rooms, Doors, Windows, Staircases, Radiators and so on. How to draw rooms and insert furniture and equipment into them is fully explained in the Planning section.

Insert

The Insert group enables you to insert a variety of object data into the design. For instance, the data can be 2D or 3D objects, various graphics and ready-made text items. There is an additional option in pCon.planner PRO: the integration of OFML data using the Catalog button. More details on the insertion of objects can be found here.

Extras

The Extras group contains the Layer dialog and the Property Editor. The latter is for editing the properties of objects. The Layer dialog is for controlling the visibility of objects in the design.
