Printing in the free version of pCon.planner

To print designs in the free version of pCon.planner, select the Print item in the Application menu (see next screenshot) and then decide whether you want to print immediately (Quick Print), to use Print Preview, or to make certain print settings by clicking on the Print item.

Print preview

When designs are printed, only the viewport currently active will be taken into account and its entire visible area will be taken as the Print Area. Before printing takes place, this area will be scaled to the paper format which has been set. Print Preview allows you to see what the printed result will look like.

The two screenshots below give an example of the part of the work area taken into account (red border) and the Print Preview that results.

In this instance, the use of the Print Area is not yet the best possible.

Turning the design in the viewport through 90°, showing it in its entirety using the Zoom All Extents command (Ctrl+Space) and setting landscape instead of portrait orientation makes the Print Preview look like this:

Print settings

Certain adaptations can be made before printing using the Print item. The application offers settings for Printer, Paper Size, Margins and other features.
