Smooth navigation is the backbone of an effective work flow. By mastering the basics of navigation, you can easily move through your project, change views and implement your designs with precision. In this video, we'll cover basic navigation techniques using the mouse and keyboard.

There are five components to navigation in pCon.planner, and these combine to enable you to see the plan from any angle:

acCameraPan

Pan

This tool moves the view of the design around both horizontally and vertically.

acCameraOrbit

Orbit

With Orbit you can swing your view around a fixed point in the three-dimensional space you are designing.

acCameraZoom

Zoom

Zoom is the means of enlarging or reducing the view of the plan as a whole or of an object.

acCameraLook

Look Around

In this case you are looking around the plan from your current location without moving.

acCameraWalk

Walk

This mode enacts movements parallel to the layer being planned.
