In contrast to conventional images, Multi Content Pictures (MCP), which are available in pCon.planner PRO, contain additional commercial information (e.g. name of product, series, manufacturer). With a click on the objects depicted in a Multi Content Picture, information on them is displayed.
For the creation of Multi Content Pictures, it is essential to have commercial data that can be attached to OFML articles, sets of articles or manually generated articles. Objects that will be visible within the image are masked and connected with their commercial information.
Creation of Multi Content Pictures
This image type is made by means of the Image dialog, like any other single frame, too. Choosing the option Multi Content Picture from the Type drop-down menu before rendering an image generates an MCP. MCPs are then saved in *.eimg format. |
Properties of Multi Content Pictures
There are a number of possible variations: Both real-time displays (renderer: OpenGL) and photorealistic images can be created as a Multi Content Picture.
Its up to you whether you want data to be exported for all the OFML objects in the visible area of the picture or only for certain objects and articles. If a Multi Content Picture is being created and certain objects in your design have been selected, the program will ask whether the data should be included for the whole picture or only for the objects selected.
Each block of information will contain at least the product name, the series and the manufacturer of the Article. More data can be added using the Properties editor. This can include a link to the product page.
Multi Content Pictures are a nice way to present a drawing. They allow for quick and easy access to information on depicted furniture and objects.
