Just as there is a Snapping objects function, there is also a mechanism for snapping wall elements. The procedure will be demonstrated here using a window as the example.
The image on the left is of a window which has been inserted. If this is repositioned using the interactor, it will not be possible to place it anywhere outside the wall. The window has effectively been snapped into the wall. Thus it is not possible to put in anywhere outside the wall (cf. image on right).
If a wall element is moved by clicking on its edges, it is admittedly not snapped into the wall during the actual move (see image on left below). However, it will be automatically inserted into the wall when the OK click is given (see image on right below).
