Additional Article Tools
The Edit Articles group on the Articles tab offers additional features for working with commercial articles as well as with models. These are introduced here.
Split up Articles
Split up Articles creates individual Articles from all Articles that are contained in an compound Article. This operation can lead to loss of information. It can also not be reversed.
Custom Configure
Button Custom Configure: opens a window with additional configuration options, if they are supported by the article.
Button Call Rules in the drop-down menu: If enabled by the specific commercial data, this function applies configuration rules to the selected article.
Remove Article Data

This tool removes the data contained in the article. The operation is available for the currently selected articles or for all articles contained in the drawing. You have the following options: •Remove all article data •Just set prices to zero |
Note: The option Remove all article data cannot be undone. Just set prices to zero has an effect until the articles are updated again or article properties are changed via the properties editor. These actions result in the prices being displayed again. |

Display 2D/3D

These options control the display of the selected articles in 2D or 3D. The display options available for the selected article depend on the respective manufacturer data. If the 2D display is not available for an article, it can be added using the 2D Symbol tool. |
Converts Models selected in the Drawing to Articles. If the respective OFML data are available locally on your system, the Articles will automatically be updated during the conversion.
Models that cannot be updated to the current product data by means of Model to Article are automatically selected in the drawing. A notification informs you about the success of the process.
If no configuration data is provided for a Model in pCon.catalog, it will be transferred to a User Article by the Model to Article option.
