Which file format do I use for panoramic images created with pCon.planner?
We recommend saving panoramic images as JPG. While keeping up a good image quality, JPG files are way smaller than PNG images.
As an example: A panorama of a specific interior scene created with OSPRay in a height of 1024 pixel has a file size of approximately 580 kB as a JPG. Saved as a PNG file, the same image would amount to 3,9 MB.
