Start Tab
The Start tab hosts all the functions which you will need for the design of a room complete with its decor and furnishings. The tab content follows the logical order of work in a design process.
The Clipboard group allows you to Copy, Cut, Paste and Insert objects and also to create a screenshot of the current work area. For this last function, click on the Copy Image button to be found in the menu opened with a click on the arrow to the right of the Copy command.
In pCon.planner PRO, you can not only copy the image of the work area but also copy the list of articles in a drawing. To do this, you click on Copy → Copy Article List.
There are a number of tools here for drawing walls, rectangular rooms, doors, windows, staircases, radiators as well as for the creation of wall objects. How to draw rooms and insert furniture and equipment into them is fully explained in the Start section. In addition, this group provides wall operations, advanced settings for the room elements and various types of light sources.
There are buttons in the Catalogs group enabling you to insert 3D models or materials into your design. The group also contains a search field enabling you to access any data in pCon.catalog.
There is an additional option in pCon.planner PRO: the integration of OFML data using the Catalog button (learn more). More details on the insertion of objects can be found here.
The Drawing Elements group on the Home tab contains various 2- and 3-dimensional drawing elements for you to insert into your design. It is also possible to insert text and images using this group.
The Visibility group contains the Layer dialog and commands to make objects visible or invisible. This is also where to find Clippings as an additional means of visibility control.
