You generate an Image or a Video. The media output dialog opens and you do not see your desired image. Instead, you see a single-colored area or a completely different picture.

When needed, pCon.planner provides the opportunity to add a company logo or other graphics to your images and videos. In the described situation, it is possible the function Show Logo is enabled. If the Size of the logo is still set at 100% (or bigger) and Transparent is disabled, the logo will be placed on top of your image.

Measurements in pCon.planner are automatically based on the current Insert Unit. If you would like to view the dimensions in a different unit – without changing the Insert Unit – proceed as follows: Switch to the Edit tab on the Ribbon. Open the Dimension Styles dialog. Adjust the Unit for your current dimension style (available in both the free and PRO versions of pCon.planner).

The Settings for the program will remain persistent. They will be retained even after closing out of and reopening pCon.planner. They also have an effect when you create a new plan or open an existing one.

The Document Properties refer to the currently loaded plan. They are saved together with the plan and are then available the next time it is opened. You can also set different Document Properties for other plans simultaneously.

The walls in my plan are no longer connected. How do I fix this?

During the planning process, you may accidently break the connection between two walls. When this happens, you will recognize that the corners are no longer aligned, but form a gap instead. Often times, you will continue to work on the plan before you realize that the walls are no longer connected. Because of this, the Undo button will not usually solve the problem.

When double clicking on a DWG file, the file opens with another program, instead of pCon.planner.

The most common cause of this problem is a missing file link. To open DWG files with pCon.planner, follow the instructions below.

The rendering times for different users vary in length on the same system. What options are there to fix this?

VN:RO [1.9.20_1166]
Rating: 2.3/5 (3 votes cast)

The differences in rendering times are often due to programs running in the background. This can vary for each user, as they may be demanding more or less of the operating system at one time.

Differences in rendering times can also be attributed to having the Windows option Run Program in Compatibility Mode enabled.

Check in pCon.planner whether the snap function for surfaces is disabled. Disabled Snap Points are usually the cause of this problem.

When plans from pCon.planner are opened using a different planning software, texts are displayed in a font different from the one set in pCon.planner.

The font used for displaying texts in pCon.planner is EGR.shx. If you wish to see exactly the same style of text as in pCon.planner in a different program, you can download the font here.
